Hi there. Sorry for the bombardment - this is the last query from my trip to France.

I thought hiking up some mountains would afford me some wonderful raptor sightings but alas it was very limited. The only action I got was brief and difficult to observe due to the sun. I think though they were all normal Buzzards (buteo buteo) but could someone confirm - if you are able to from the horrendous photos (sorry!)

Oh wow - that's made my day! I am gutted I didn't see (or photograph) them in more detail as it was right up into some very very bright sun. But how wonderful - another new bird for me. Happy days! Thanks Valéry.
