my first singing Blackcap of the year in the car parkat Coldham Hall Norfolk (UK)

33 Mute swans were also seen at Langley Green Norfolk

The first Willow Warbler of the year was seen at Lowestoft Suffolk today too.

Yea it always amuses me when I send in records of Exceptioanlly early migrants. I usually get a note requesting a description.

After the 1st April one would not be required.

It seems to be the occupation of some birders to get the earliest migrants each year.

This Willow Warbler is one week earlier than normal.

But I won't be suprised if the county recorder asks for a description.
