baby blue tits dying in nest box (1 Viewer)

The female laid 11 eggs about 2 weeks ago and 10 babies hatched. For the last 3 or 4 days the babies have been gradually dying and now there are 3 babies left. There is a camera in the box obviously and the male and the female have been out getting food. The same sort of event happened last year and I find it sad and baffling. Michael.

I would imagine it's simply lack of food, parents unable to bring enough. It's still relatively early for the huge numbers of caterpillars that they'll need.
