Another picture from last week, taken in Costa Rica. I don't know if the bird in the picture is a juvenile or not.

Agreed, a chachalaca. I don't think the photo rules out Plain Chachalaca, but Gray-Headed is very numerous at this location (and range of Plain is said to be north from "northernmost Costa Rica", though I'm not sure how reliable that information is).
