Ross's Gull - Radipole, Weymouth - 24th February 2018

Loads of these knocking around but a selection of 25 photos from two appearances at Radipole last Saturday. A very fun experience.

The bird is back there today.

All the best

Paul

Oh, I've been tempted, but the old twitching calculus advises against it. Length of drive and associated fuel costs, not entirely reliable bird, I've got half a dozen in the bank already (though none since 2007)... doesn't quite get me moving. Half the distance or a nailed on bird and I'd probably be on my way.

The third one in the final batch is an absolute banger, well done Paul!

I found this a very difficult bird to photograph, dunno whether it was the light, the birds around it or what. Some very pleasing shots in your sessions.
