Leica 10x25 BCA Movement in Focus Wheel (1 Viewer)

I have just purchased some new Leica 10x25 BCA binoculars online.

However I am a bit concerned that there is some movement in the focus wheel (if you press lightly down) around centre left & right.

It almost feels like a click, is this amount of movement normal?

There is no movement at the extreme left & right.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I've had a pair of 8x20 BCA for years and they click if you press down on the focus wheel. I assume its quite normal.

Hi Richard,
Many thanks for confirming :)
The binoculars are outstanding, I was just a bit worried that there was a bit of movement around the centre focus.
Was not sure if it was a fault or not.

I just checked mine and it has a click too. I've owned it for a long time and this is the first time I noticed it.:h?: I had to hold it up to my ear. The wheel has a spring-like give to it when I turn it.
