Opticron Imagic BGA PC (1 Viewer)

Anyone tried, or possess these? - they are on my shortlist along with a couple of other 8x25 as part of my upgrade of low-cost comapact/light-weight gear.

This one was on the shortlist, based on a review in Birdwatching magazine of compacts over £100. Of course without trying them for myself, and the usual caveat, just wondering if anyone nay user comments, good or bad.

Picture/viewing quality I accept is individual, any other comments appreciated.

I've posted the above on a few places on the bino's forum. Please note am doing other searches on the net,

Steve

Hi Steve

I've looked through them and they are fine - sorry don't mean to damn with faint praise. Build quality is below the BGAT (Opticron and Delta, which I own, both do one called this and they seem to be the same bin) and they are not as compact.

Unless you want the waterproofing look at the Taiga's - a lot cheaper and optically as good.
