Knowing less about plants than I do birds, querying the plant experts for an ID on this pretty white flower floating in a sea of green on a slow-moving waterway/lake.

I would say it is a Lotus Flower (also referred to as water lily sometimes).

PS. Lotus is a name that gets mixed up and used for non-lotus species all the time, the true lotus are Nelumbo which this isn't.
