I live in woods/marsh off the Nanticoke W. of Salisbury and have spent 25yrs surfing at the Federal Park, but only recently have we started paying attention birds on the coast. (we have a different lot of birds only 40mi due W)

Roughly early October I was just inside the dune getting ready to leave when there was a continuous stream of swallows making a beeline South for the 10min I was packing up. Yet about 2 wks. ago (1st Nov) ..hardy anything moving?! (heavy winds may have been an issue)

Anybody kind-of know the migration schedules? Thanks.

Jim
