Prunus sp blossom for ID (1 Viewer)

Birding for fun
Find sorting out blossom on cherry and plum species particularly tricky. Any suggestions for these two gratefully received. Thank you,

First is a plum of some sort.


Second is a cherry; from the slightly pink flowers, I'd suspect a garden hybrid involving one of the Japanese cherries commonly grown as ornamental trees.
