opticron mm2 focussing problems (2 Viewers)

My wife has just bought an Opticron mighty midget v2 angled with 25x eye piece on ebay for £103. The scope arrived today. Looked in perfect condition. Set it up on my tripod in the garden and it won't focus for some reason. Light is getting through ok(lens caps have been removed) and have extended the body of the scope all to no avail! We have sent a message to the ebay seller but was wondering if we've overlooked something obvious or whether any one else has experience of an MM2 with a focussing fault

There are two very definite clicks when extending the tube on an MM2 for the scope to be fully operational you must extend the draw tube fully to the second 'click'

Great stuff. We were extending only the lens hood(Doh!) It works fine now the body is properly extended. Thanks for the quick advice!
