Hi.. Can anyone tell me which version of the 8x32 model Golden Ring is the most current HD model, the # 61400 or the # 62800.... thanks gwen

62800 is the current, HD model; whereas 61400 is the previous, non-HD model.

HD (i.e. ED) glass. I've not tried either of them but expeience with other good bins the ED version should fell noticeably crisper.

THat doesn't mean the other one isn't a good deal (especially at lower price).

According to a Leupold rep. they stopped making the 61400 in 2007.
