Gulls, around Victoria, BC, Canada (1 Viewer)

Could somebody help with these gulls? All photographed by the same friend.

I'm clueless on no. 1. Could nos. 2 & 3 just be American Herring Gull? Are the gulls in front of the Sea Lion also this species?

1st looks like it could be Western gull, though not sure I'd want to exclude California or an intergrade based on the one image. Other three look like Glaucous winged, which is the default pale primary gull in the Pacific NW.
 
although it looks bulky i'd go for 2nd cycle california gull for the first one - bill shape and pattern. the others are glaucous-winged as mentioned while it's not really possible to see their wingtip-pattern to exclude a hybrid with western gull (='olympic gull') which are common along the coast of BC. but on what can be seen there is no hint of a darker wingtip.
