Advice for organizing AOU checklist supplements? (1 Viewer)

Perhaps a silly question, but I've just acquired the AOU checklist (7th edition) in book form, as well as all of the supplements, and I'm wondering how folks have been organizing them? In other words, are birders actually scribbling and crossing out names in the original checklist book (which seems impossible for some of the major changes), or does one somehow have to read through each supplement or check an online list each time one is interested in a particular bird or bird family?

Thanks in advance.

Ken,

I suggest you use AOU NACC's annually updated online checklist for everyday purposes (with the book and supplements for additional reference):

The updated checklist can be downloaded as a PDF or Excel file. It would be easy to add a column to the Excel file identifying any supplements referring to each species.
