Is it worth it to upgrade to the Ver. 3 20-60x eyepiece? (1 Viewer)

Is it worth it to upgrade from the 41005 (T77 & T62 markings) eyepiece to the 41012 (locking pin) eyepiece?

Optically, I don't think so, but the addition of the locking pin makes the eyepiece more secure when zooming in/out so, for peace of mind, yes. If you can live with the possibility of the eyepiece coming off during use, then probably not.
