Found a baby bird on the side of the road, and in curious as to what kind it is. I believe it’s a 2 week old eastern kingbird.

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:
We're glad you found us and thanks for taking a moment to say hello. Please join in wherever you like ;)

It does look like a young Kingbird except I'm not seeing any yellow on its gape so I don't think it is that young.

Hi and welcome to the forum. He/she looks like a fledgling. The best thing would have been to leave him where you found him as the parents were probably close and still helping. If he was in the middle of the road, moving him off to the side would have worked. Can you take him back where you found him?

Hi Jfh and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.
