About 150 Black kites flew over my house, in South west Spain, inside 20 minutes. All heading South! It seems early to me, or is it normal?

It's normal Gerald in mid-July, for example, the migration watchpoint just south of Geneva had 178 Black Kite through on this date in 2018.

Thanks. I was not expecting anything until into August! Do you think that it is just adults? And the youngsters follow later?

No, they go together as your two photos show! A young bird (dark eye and well streaked below) and an adult with its pale eye and little streaking(and in wing moult compared to the pristine feathers of the young individual).
