If anyone can clarifie what type these ducks are it would be appreciated.spotted today off city iskand in the bronx.

The right-most bird in the first photo looks smaller, with a smaller bill and steeper forehead than the others; possibly a first winter male Black Scoter, but may well be something else.

I'd hesitate to exclude a female Surf Scoter on that bird.
