I live in northeastern Indiana, in the United States of America. Recently I have heard an intriguing birdsong from my window; I have heard it twice. It is a repetitive, musical sound; I think that it would be described as a whistle. It is comprised of three notes, and the best way I can think to describe these notes are do-me-so; it descends on the scale. It is rather high-pitched and it reminds me of a musical instrument. These notes are always repeated at least three times. I had thought that it might be a thrush of some sort but I am not entirely sure. Can anyone identify this birdsong?
