S'Albufera Mallorca and bittern (1 Viewer)

Hi All

Would anyone know where in S'Albufera is the best palce to try and see great bittern. I was told by another birder that was there last summer that he had one on the canal looking North from the tower hide.

I haven't had one at S'Albufera, but I've heard one booming at Albuferetta on the large pool behind the housing at the north edge of Alcudia.
 
When I was at the S'Albufera at the end of April the Tower Hide was closed for repairs. I'd check at the reception before walking to the hide as it's a very long walk.
