Two beautiful images of our Red-tailed Hawk!

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

We're glad you found us and thanks for taking a moment to say hello. Please join in wherever you like ;)

Found this nest a week ago, one block away from my apartment in the city.

Nesting on the ac unit of a public school about 3 stories up or so. Two adults and two young ones. Mother finished with morning feeding and leaving the nest to meet up with dad.

Like the way they've built their nest on top of those anti-bird spikes, and buried them in the process. Makes the nest extra stable and strong, it can't blow off in a storm :-O

The depth is also pretty deceptive too. I have seen both parents in there at the same time. Had I not seen it, I would not have believed it myself.
