Advice on Costa Rica (1 Viewer)

Dear all,
I'm planning a trip for next year, probably August, to go both birding and scuba diving. This year I went to Florida and it was a brilliant split between diving the keys and birding in the Everglades. Costa Rica has been mentioned for an excellent place to go diving but I'm not sure about the birding there, i.e ease to get to places, national parks etc (the brochure I've got does not have that much information and my web searches take me to either hotels in Costa Rica, pages in Spanish and you can imagine what "Costa Rica Diving" can throw up). Does anyone have any advice?
Much appreciation for any information given,
SPF
