Spent a great half day birding today in Buenos Aires at the very beautiful and impressive Ecológica Costanera Sur reserve. I saw 52 species, and 15 of them lifers.

Tomorrow I'll do a full day in Entre Rios, two days outside of Buenos Aires, which should be very promising.

Had a fantastic day birding in the Entre Rios area of Argentina with the excellent Marcelo Gavensky of Birding Buenos Aires.

We saw 91 species, including 36 lifers, over a diverse range of beautiful birding locations. What a really impressive country with amazing birding.

I had the pleasure of spending two days working in Shenzhen this week. Although there was no time for proper birding, I was able to free up an hour at a local park and ended up with four lifers, including dozens of Black Kites, floating effortlessly over Hong Kong on my way home.
