Saturday, July 26th entry ......

Been enjoying the much cooler temps in the AZ high country the last couple of days and had a chance to try out the Zen Ray Prime HD spotting scope I picked up last fall. It does give an excellent view!
 
Saw a meteor/meteorite yesterday evening - it was starting to get gloomy and the first two planets or so were out, but no stars yet, when a greenish white flash of light shot across the sky. Nice!
