Eagle Optics Ranger ED 8x42 (1 Viewer)

Purchased a new pair of unopened, in-the-box Eagle Optics Ranger ED 8x42 binoculars from a local nature shop. I called Vortex Optics Service and they will cover the Eagle Optics Platinum Protection for life. These are nice optics -- exceptional for the price I paid -- great for bird watching.

Never know what optics a person can find in a locked case at a retail store.

;)

I'm sure there are deals to be had in retail stores, but it's a hit and miss thing-seems you were lucky since you got them at a good price. That's right, Vortex is covering all of EO's bino warranties.

They sound very similar to the Bushnell Legend M's that I have, with similar specs and looks. The Legend M's have gotten nice reviews too, like your Eagle Optics Ranger ED's. As long as you're happy, then you got a good deal for sure! Enjoy!
