Looks like the legs are striped, suggesting a Common Darter rather than Ruddy, which has all black legs.

Agreed Andy. Did have my first Ruddy Darter of the year today though.

Agreed - also the black line above the eyes doesn't descend down the sides, which it would in ruddy.

these small differences, now you pointed out the striped
legs I can see it now.............
