Ever hopeful of getting close to an Elk... though I can't really believe this is large enough for such a huge creature?

Taken in a forest and not on a marked trail, we were scrambling around a bit.

Oh dear! Not really John, rather thought the leaves might be a clue to someone.

Maybe I should post it in the Flowers forum first.... if we get an ID on them it might give us a clue to the size?

Think I remember thinking at the time they looked bigger than rabbit droppings.
 
Bilberries and Roe Deer.... a good match that.

I'll check with Ann, but I guess Roe Deer would be pretty common in that area.

Sooo.... I've still only got Elk tracks on my list! I'll see more of them one day LOL
