OD of Suiriri islerorum here but a synonym for Suiriri affinis.

No doubt to whom the honor goes:

Special thanks must go to M. and E Isler, who generously donated their time and talents to providing the map and spectrograms (respectively) used in this paper.

But full dedication on p.63.

So the The Eponym Dictionary of Birds is correct with the claim:

Antwren genus Isleria Bravo, Chesser & Blumfield, 2012
Chapada Flycatcher Suiriri islerorum Zimmer, Whittaker & Oren, 2001

Morton L. Isler (b.1929) and Phyllis R. Isler (b.1931) are ornithologists living in Virginia, USA, most well known for their book The Tanagers (1987). Both are Research Associates at the USNM. The original etymology for the flycatcher reads: 'We take great pleasure in naming this species after our good friends and colleagues, Morton and Phyllis Isler, in recognition of their numerous contributions to Neotropical ornithology ...' Both retired from other professions (1981) to devote themselves full time to ornithology. They continue (2010) to examine species limits in antbirds with an emphasis on the use of vocalisations as taxonomic characters, typically publishing one or two papers a year.

If Wikipedia here is correct Morton Lee Isler and Phyllis Reynolds Isler (probably Phyllis Isler née Reynolds). And not to forget Islerothraupis Burns, Unitt, Philip & Mason, Nicholas., 2016 not mentioned in The Eponym Dictionary of Birds.

Take it for what's worth.
