Mid Wales Trip - Any Recommendations? (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

I'm a Londoner going to be near Welshpool for a 'do' in a couple of weeks and hoping to get an early morning birding session in beforehand. Would welcome recommendations as to where I should go.

Lake Vyrnwy is an obvious candidate... Ynys-Hir is doable at a push...

Any thoughts on their relative merits? Anywhere else I should consider?

Thanks in advance
