Photographs - me!

Jim kindly let me know about the bird just after he found it, I saw it that evening, again on Monday evening and was the last person to see it on Thursday evening as far as I know. Looked for it again yesterday, but no luck. Cracking bird and congratulations to Jim for finding it:t:

I'm SO jealous. We hear oriels daily here, in the summer - and never get to see one. They hide in the tree-tops and announce their presence, I've only ever briefly spotted one - once. All I get for my troubles is neck-ache.

How did you DO this !!!

Well done.

Fabulous.!
Saw plenty in Lesvos last moth, but capturing them is another thing.
Hope there'll be some early migrants when we're back in North Norfolk, at the end of next month.
Mick
