Nightjars at Oaker's Wood. RSPB (1 Viewer)

The RSPB South Dorset group are having a meeting on Wed. 16th June to look for Nightjars at Oakers Wood. Meet at SY809912 just off the B3390 road. You will get information on other less common species in the area as well as the sound and vision of this crepuscular species.

If you don't have any luck there, Wareham Heath is a good spot to try, it's down your way, not far from Weymouth.
