Stonechat. Maura? Lithuania

Hello,

A pair of Stonechats breeding this year in Lithuania. They are really rare birds here and just in recent years they became more frequent.

This individual somehow reminds S. maurus (Siberian stonechat) but some features doesn't look very good for one.
We don't have many practice with Stonechats, so all opinions would be very welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Marius, I suspect your bird is a very well-marked rubicola on account of 1) the rump does not seem extensive enough for maurus-not reaching the lower back and 2) in the 5th image there appears to be a fairly obvious isolated black spot left of centre in the upper rump, though strangely this this is not visible in the final rear view of it perched. (out of view maybe?) Unfortunately the images aren't anywhere near sharp enough to comment on the presence/or not of flank streaking and critically, there are no shots of the underwing.

The female is an undoubted Common Stonechat.

Grahame
