I think you might be right about Muscovy x Mallard. But I don't see Mallard x Wood Duck at all!

Some Wood Duck influence was my first impression,Could well just be coincidence that something like say a Muscovy x Mallard ends up looking a bit Wood Duck like but there are certainly some features of this bird that at least remind me a bit of Wood Duck such as the red in the bill over all dark colouring and particularly the length and shape of the tail.

Those great big fat yellow legs certainly say Muscovy X to me

Heavy build, red on bill, dark/chestnut-ish tone to plumage and straight, stiff-looking tail all point to Muscovy parentage.
