Hello everyone, Jim in San Diego here. My wife and I are avid Hummingbird fans and have attracted our fair share over the years. We've had nesting hummers nearby, but never in a place we could observe, until now. Just outside our kitchen window a momma hummer built a nest on the hanging plant. When I'm familiar with the forum and the right place to do so, I'll post the pictures I've taken.

Hi Jim welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. Just to let you know we don’t allow photos of nests on the site. However, if you have some of the mom or the fledglings after they leave the nest you could share in either the gallery or the hummingbird forum.

Welcome to Birdforum! I'm sure you'll find lots to interest you here, and I hope you enjoy your visits.
