Hello all,

I want to add Northern Goshawk to my list.

I live in Southern California, and I understand they may be found in
some of the higher elevation forests around here.

I will also be in Kings Canyon National Park twice this summer.

Out of these two geographic areas, can anyone recommend a likely place
to see a goshawk?

thanks.

Sequoia groves are good. Old growth forest etc. I once watched one kill a Douglas Tree Squirrel in King's Canyon Park. Terrible. I love those squirrels. Anyway, you might ask in the Grant Grove Ranger Station (King's Park)..........
