Wader help: Ythan estuary, Aberdeenshire (1 Viewer)

Good morning,

I saw a wader yesterday on the mudflats on the Ythan estuary. I’m thinking Ruff, but the beak is quite long and bird relatively small, is a juvenile Curlew Sandpiper a possibility? Bird was some distance away and photos are phone scoped.

Thanks for any help.

Cheers Pete
