Morning,

I caught up with the currently unidentified peep on the Ythan this morning. Apologies for the pictures, screen grabs from phonescoped video taken at extreme range with rubbish light in the rain! Bird had a distinct feeding behaviour.

Thanks for any help getting an Id.

Cheers

A note that the question that has been raised about this bird is whether it is a Semipalmated Sandpiper or a greyish looking Little Stint.

The he video is not good enough to be sure about details. To me it looks like an adult winter Little Stint mainly because of the overall jizz and the rather fine-tipped bill.
