Pentax K10D (1 Viewer)

As a better quality alternative the 16-45mm is an exceptional lens but it'll be near on useless for wildlife and sports, you need at least 300mm so need to look at other marques or used Pentax equipment as Pentax are currently lacking in longer lenses, the Pentax 80-320 (if you can find one) is an excelent lens for the money, if your on a tight budget and dont mind manual focus then have a look on ebay for some older "KA" mount lenses.

I can recommend the F or FA 300/4,5.It's a superlens!
I've had the F 300 since -92 and the performance is still flawless.
And the other option is to wait for the new DA 300/4.The releasedate was set to September but it's delayed.
And it's been rumours about a 400/4 also.But that's probably only rumours.

Thankyou folks. I picked up a K10D on Saturday with the double lens kit and I'm getting used to things but I already appreciate that I need a longer lens and a flash and a tripod and ......... 3:)
