My wife and I have just bought a flat in Bristol Harbourside. We wondering which areas nearby are good for bird watching? And we can we expect to see/look out for?

Hi JT

It rather depends on what transport you have. Here's an entry in Opus for Chew Valley Lake, which is just south of Bristol. From that article you can explore other areas by clicking on the various links. And don't forget the WWT at Slimbridge, which should possibly be available by public transport.

Hope these get you started.
