Alpen Rainier 8X32 (1 Viewer)

Make Time to Stop and Look Once Again
This binocular has been discontinued by Alpen. They no longer list the binocular on their online catalog. I called Alpen in CA, and they confirmed that it has been discontinued. They still produce the Apex 8x32, but this is not as high quality, and I think it is made in China.

I have the Rainiers in both 8x32 and 10x32 and like them very much. Excellent build quality and very sharp as well. Some say that they are a bit heavy but I have never found their weight to be much of an issue. I sort of expected Alpen to replace them with an ED version but so far this has not been the case.
