Hey all,

Off to the warbler festival on Weds 10th May and wondering if anyone here has been (or going)? Any info on sites nearby greatly appreciated.
Also we're flying into Chicago as it was much cheaper so any sites on our 4hr eastward journey to Magee would be nice too.... ;)
Obviously going into Michigan for the Kirtland's but does anyone know of any sites for Black-backed Woodie or anything else worth going for?

Cheers

Surprised no replies as Magee marsh is fairly heavily birded. I've birded this area.

you are out of range of the woodpecker

Briefly,
Ebird (inc rare bird alerts) and to a lesser extent listserve RBA are your main 2 resources for up to date info.

I've never seen Kirtland's on migration; only at a breeding site, so you may need some luck.

There is one Kirtland's hanging around at Point pelee:
