Francolin on Mt. Hanang at 11000 ft absl (1 Viewer)

In December 2017 I was on the summit of Mt. Hanang at 11200 ft in Tanzania, when I heard francolins calling just below me in the heather undergrowth. I tried to stalk the sounds for quite a while but was not able to get a glimpse of the bird. I was wondering what species of francolin these would be? Would they be Montane Francolin or Shelley's Francolin? Can anyone help. Has anyone been up there and identified the birds?
