Dry Hip Pack for Bins (1 Viewer)

If you, like me, have a paternal instinct to protect your much loved non- waterproof Porros from the elements, do check the Akona dry hip pack. This company specialises in making stuff for skuba divers. The hip pack has a 100% waterproof compartment that fits bins including Nikon 10x35 E2 comfortably. At a stretch you can just squeeze in a Zeiss 7x42 classic although this borders on their capacity.
I find them very well made and great value for the $25 I paid for them. Shop around as prices vary appreciably.
They also make a dry shoulder bag that I have not seen in person.
Go to www.akona.com products then gear bags then specialty for the dry hip pack (akb 764).
For the dry shoulder bag (akb 724) click adventure after gear bags.
