This came with an old compact camera. Cost about £12. Boxed good condition.
It screws into front of camera lens with adapter.
Used briefly last night on stars and surprisingly good.
Vignetting at edge and not as good as the larger Konica Minolta ACT-100.
Again I had to use my computer glasses to get sharp stars.
There is a label on it saying range 6ft - infy for camera use.
I can only see 5 multicoated reflections, but I think it has 3 lens elements. Specs say 3 groups?
The rear lens is deeply recessed but I still see the whole field with glasses.
It is 1.75x, but with my glasses probably 1.9x.
Stars quite a bit brighter than with my normal distance glasses.
Unfortunately 75mm wide at front so not good as a binocular, but good as a monocular.
The Nikon TC-E2 tele converter 2x seems to be the choice for binoculars, but I don't get on well with it.
Will try again when less tired to see what the field is, but it seems to be wide.
All three teleconverters are made in Japan and well made.
