Vortex Viper compared well (1 Viewer)

Been thinking about purchasing a 65mm (15-45) scope to compliment our Fieldscope ED82. Wanted to stay under $1,000. While at the Magee Marsh Birding festival last week I had the chance to make side-by-side comparisons of:
Viper HD65
Viper Razor 65
Celestron Regal M265ed
Vanguard 65
Endeavor HD

Also looked at:
Viper Razor 50
Opticron G552

I ended up with the Viper HD from Eagle Optics which offered the best balance of consistent image quality in a variety of light conditions, field of view, and mechanics. Have been very pleased so far.
