Hello!

Please help me identify these Yellowlegs, photographed in July in Elkhorn Slough (California). Are all of them Greater YL?
1-2 Same bird
3 Another individual

Thank you

I think they're all greater. Based on: bill length (longer than head), thickness (not thin) and slight upturn. Also general robustness of the birds (not slight, delicate-looking)

Agree they're both Greater Yellowlegs.
In addition to what's been said, one important character is the barring on the flanks, which is heavy in Greater and normally absent in Lesser (in breeding plumage that is).
