58. The longest remaining intact section of Route 66 can be found in Arizona and runs from Seligman to Topock, a total of 157 unbroken miles.
Route 66 was one of the original and best known highways in the US. It crossed the county and ended up in Santa Monica, CA. It served as a major route for those going west before the interstate highways came about. Most of it has been replaced by Interstate 40 from OK to CA.
