Canon 60D and video (1 Viewer)

Lately when I turn my 60D on to shoot video (mostly birds in their habitat) it will turn off after about 10-15 seconds. I then turn it back on and it seems to be fine. ANy ideas on what might be causing this problem (other than me)? For lenses I'm usually using Canon 300mm L IS or Sigma 150-600 contemporary.
