Miniature Nikon Eii (1 Viewer)

I am fabricating a miniature pair of brass Nikon 8x30 Eii for my wife's birthday. The Eiis are her favorite biniculars. They are still not finished yet. They will have lenses which I sourced from vintage replacent watch crystals.

I plan on either painting them black and covering with the thinnest faux leatherette or applying a black paitina to them.

I figured since you guys seem to like the Eii you might enjoy seeing these.

Greater love hath no man than this...that he manufacture a miniature pair if EII's for his wife....I'm not sure which of you is luckier; you, because she appreciates EII's, or her, because you're making the model!
OTOH, I'm not sure how Mme. Sanch' would react if I gave her binoculars of any sort as a present...I hope you know what you're doing!:eek!:

I would be very happy with a new binocular as a present from anyone.

I'll take that new Swaro CL 8x30 if anyone wants to put that down on their Xmas list for me o:):-O

What a delightful present. Well done.
Leatherette in the approprate places would look just wonderful.
