Hi everybody

I am from Yorkshire originally but now live up on the moors in Teesdale, county durham.
I am a keen nature watcher and birder, just really getting back into again, how could you not living here, its a giant nature reserve outside the door. Black grouse, short eared owl, golden plovers, redshank, curlew, stonechats, wheatear, adders, stoats etc.

I need some bins so will start another thread.

Paul.

Hi Paul and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

Good luck with your search for new binoculars.... remember to 'try before you buy' as they must fit your eyes (I've made that mistake!)

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news - you sure do live in a lovely area of the country.

Many thanks Delia, yes its beautiful here, winters can be a bit rough though but I like the seasons.
Its a crime with the bins I have at the minute, Zenith 10x50, about 35 years old, you cant see a bloody thing through them. I would love to get them up for a test and look at the results for CA lol.
Minefield choosing new ones I see, so much choice and as soon as you have chosen you think should I have gone for something else.

Hi Coppo
Welcome from Sheffield. Teesdale is gorgeous. You are most welcome to dip in here wherever you like.

Cheers Lee, yes, I will be contributing where possible, first I need to get some decent binos, hence my other thread. I was birdwatching mad when a kid.

Paul.
